A Piece Of Advice For Men

If you ever encounter a woman like that, don't walk - run! She's a perfect example of everything what's wrong with many modern women: lazy (spent 10 years "trying to be an artist", has an easy job teaching English in a foreign country, but though obviously in her thirties wants to go back to college); entitled (expects her current boyfriend to sacrifice everything for her without a hint of giving anything in return, like children, for instance), and with delusions of grandeur (zero achievements, but she isn't just some "woman of the household", she is "ambitious", no, really, "too ambitious" for some patriarchal developing country, so there!). To say nothing of student debts which she will later expect you to pay...

  1. This young woman has had her brain infected with the feminist/humanist virus. It will effectively prevent her from being a happy, productive person, because she will forever be chasing the dream of "self-fulfillment." Unfortunately, she may also ruin the life of any male who stupidly gets caught up in her ephemeral charms.

  2. Too many young people (of both sexes) are told a lie by their parents and caregivers that they can be whatever they wish and should spend their life "chasing their dreams" of yes, "self-fulfillment", whatever the heck it is, and that they have rights but no obligations. Add to this current prosperity and availability of easy credit and you get the present-day mess. Impersonating Peter Pan has never been so popular:)

  3. She's a selfish nightmare. Ego driven. Not a bone of humility. (Maybe she has a nice body - there must be something that makes him stay with her.)

  4. Men will do many stupid things for a pretty face:) But yes, they should have some standards, at least when planning to marry. I'm sure many divorces could have been avoided if both men and women used their common sense. Don't marry a fixer upper! Some people simply can't be reformed and should be left to themselves.

  5. How sad. Both for him and for her :( Feminism is a cancer that will destroy us all if we do not fight back with the truth. And the truth sets us free!

  6. I sometimes wonder if the editors invent these stories just to make a point, but, on the other hand, there are lots of young women who think along similar lines, unfortunately. It's like some people never grow up or something.

  7. "But then I think of my life, and I can’t just sit here in Mexico and be in his shadow. I do not want to be the woman of the household while my man is out having a marvelous professional career. I have to think about my career as well, but I also do want a family and the support and warmth that he provides for me."

Good old modern thinking that you can do both like that. What's exactly wrong with "patriarchy" or being in a man's shadow? I'm guessing she's one of the 80% who can't enjoy good old fashioned sex and org*sm too.

I have been working for a small amount of time but am quitting because I can't reconcile independence and being in the workforce with the beliefs and desires of my heart. There's nothing more fulfilling than just depending on and following a man. There's no deeper commitment. And I sure would never be one of those women out in the workforce AND obeying a husband.

Because I will obey him, I'll also expect him to fully provide for me financially and protect me. I can't explain the feeling of contentment that brings and fulfillment. A paycheck cannot compensate for the loss of love and passion I experienced when I left his protection to make my own money. We are far from rich yet. I am not "lucky" to "be able to" stay at home. People do what's in their hearts. Modern women work because of ideology, not necessity (with a few exceptions, naturally).

  8. "Modern women work because of ideology, not necessity..."

Yes, that's been my experience, too.
